Anthro / Traditional Media / Painting & Airbrushing

5 layer stencil, all spraypaint (Montana and Ironlak) based on a photo of ~dire-musaera at a park. She designed most of the stencil, I cut and sprayed. This was getting bid on quite well on opening night, Dire is just cuter than me I guess.

The pointing arm looks very strange to me. Maybe its because of the angle Im not sure. Also her left eye looks a bit small..another thing that bothers me is the lighting. Light seems very selective in the sense that its hitting her from all directions.

I'm usually not very interested in furries - nothing wrong with them, but I don't really see the appeal - but this is something else. It's like you're using the standard furry iconography and turning it on its head by integrating it in a stencil/street art environment. Like Takashi Murakami meet Banksy.

I'm not entirely sure what the position of her hand is supposed to be - shouldn't we see more fingers?

The colors are fantastic here and the "speech" bubble is a nice touch.

Thanks tons man, any comparison to Banksy is highly complimentory. I can't take all the credit for this though, it was a joint project between me and dire-musaera. Her hand is turned so we are seeing her index finger and thumb, I admit it does look a tad confusing.
