A companion piece to "No Flowers", this is a portrait of Venus being very... emo? We laid down pattenered paper, Dire did a tree in traditional ink, and I cut and sprayed a stencil based on Dire's drawing. This sold to the wonderful Nattychan before the exhibition. The rose is made with more patterned paper.

Definitely reminds be of the entirety of Track 12. Very nice. I love the stamp technique.

Thanks muchly, but... stamp technique? Huh?

I didn't mean technique. I meant stamp style...just the popart greatness of the piece.

After browsing through your gallery, I would say this piece is one of my favorites. It has the "less is more" feel to it and yet still expresses some sort of emotion. Moreover, I think you did a nice job at working with the negative space; not a lot of artists seem to play around with negative space. But I really don't agree with the clouds and petals(?) in this piece. It makes the piece feel more busy rather than lonely. I also sugest that the tree should be a little bigger while the woman should be a lil smaller to convey this loneliness. Though, still a lovely piece. :)
